Description
High on the hill above the Limmat River, the Lindenhof is a peaceful little oasis in the heart of the city where locals play chess on an oversized board. From here, the panoramic views are glorious and stretch all the way to the Alps beyond. Pictured here, the landmark Grossmunster (Great Minster), a Romanesque church built in the 12th and 13th Centuries and the surrounding buildings of the old town with their colourful red roofs and shuttered windows. I blended textures with my original photograph to compliment the old world feel of this classic Zurich city scene.

Beautifully done Carol! Wonderful tones and texture. I have a shot of this church from across the river. Beautiful city.
